Goals & OKRs
The company’s goal cycles. Each objective has a level, company, group or personal, and aligns to another above it, and the tree shows it all with the color of the last check-in and the progress. Each objective has from one to twenty key results, of four types (increase, decrease, keep within a range or deliver), with a weight and an owner. A key result’s value only changes through a check-in, with the status On track, At risk or Off track and a note, and the history is never rewritten.

Objectives from the company down to each person
A startup with four squads and quarterly goals
The company sets two objectives for the quarter, each squad aligns its own and each person theirs. Every Monday the reminder goes to whoever has a KR without a check-in, and at the results meeting the tree already shows in red what is off track.
- The whole company in one tree
- The company objective at the top, the groups’ objectives aligned to it and each person’s aligned to the group’s. Whoever looks at the tree sees what is at risk and whose it is.
- Check-ins that are not forgotten
- In My KRs, each owner sees first what has no check-in in the period and does it right there. The weekly or biweekly reminder goes only to whoever is behind.
- A restricted objective when needed
- Marked as restricted, the objective only shows to its owner, their leaders, the team and the owners of its KRs. For everyone else, it does not exist.
- Goals reach the review
- In the self-review and the manager review, Performance Review shows the person’s objectives and KRs for the period, for reference.
