The conversation between a leader and each direct report, kept in the community instead of a notebook. Either of the two logs the 1:1 that took place, with the topics, a shared note, a private note and the agreed actions, each with an owner and a due date. Whoever prefers a fixed schedule starts a weekly, biweekly or monthly series, with a calendar invite, a reminder and an agenda both build. Open actions show up in every following 1:1 until they are done, and the owner and the admin read everyone’s 1:1s, read-only.

A sales department with eight leaders
Each leader logs the week’s 1:1 with a sales rep in a minute, with the actions. In the next one, what was left open shows at the top, and the director sees in Adherence which leaders stopped doing 1:1s in the last month, without reading what anyone wrote.
- Logging takes a minute
- With whom, the date, what you talked about and what you agreed. The other person is notified in the bell, without the notes, and the pair’s history lives on a single card.
- Actions that do not vanish
- Each action has an owner and a due date and comes back in every 1:1 until it is done. An action of the report goes to their IDP with one click.
- A private note is private
- Neither the other person, nor the community owner, nor support read a private note. The shared one, both read.
- HR sees whether 1:1s happen
- Adherence shows, per leader, the active series and the 1:1s done in the last 30 and 90 days. Numbers only, with no agenda or note.
