The space that prepares for guests’ arrival. Members register a guest ahead of time, with the day and a time window, and can edit or cancel until the guest arrives. On the Today tab, the front desk sees who is expected from every host and marks the arrival with one tap, which goes straight into Attendance and notifies the host by e-mail. At the kiosk, an expected guest types their name and is recognized, without picking anyone. If the house wants, the guest first gets an e-mail with the day, the time and arrival instructions.

An office with a shared front desk
The day before, the lawyer registers the two clients for the 10am meeting. The front desk sees the names on the Today tab, the clients recognize themselves on the iPad when they arrive, and she gets the heads-up on her phone before they come up.
- The invitation, made ahead
- Name, day and time, plus company, e-mail and phone if the house asks. Members see their own guests and can cancel until arrival; they never see anyone else’s.
- The front desk knows who’s coming
- The Today tab lists the day’s expected guests, with search by name or company. One tap marks the arrival, and no-shows drop off the list on their own the next day.
- The kiosk recognizes the guest
- The guest types their first and last name, and the screen asks whether they are the expected person, with the name shortened. One tap logs the arrival and notifies the host.
- Arrival instructions by e-mail
- If the house turns it on, the guest gets the day, time, place and how to get there. By default they get nothing, and there is a cap on sends per host.

Like every space, this one is public, members only or subscribers only — the choice is per space, and the space is the authority on what can be reached from it.
