Time Clock

The space for employees’ time tracking. A person clocks in and out in the app, on the server’s time, and gets a PDF receipt; each punch stores the IP and, if the device allows, the location, and nothing that was punched can be edited or deleted. What gets corrected is the handling: the person requests an adjustment and the direct leader approves or declines it. Each space’s rules — work hours, grace period, overtime, night hours and hour bank — close the month’s timesheet, and management generates the CSV for payroll and the AFD and AEJ files. With an allowed radius, a punch far from the workplace is blocked or flagged.

The time clock in the app, with timesheet and hour bank

A retail chain with employees on payroll in Brazil

Each store is a time clock space, with its own radius and flag mode. The manager approves the team’s adjustments from their phone, HR closes the month with the totals frozen and hands the CSV to payroll, and the AFD and AEJ files when an auditor asks.

Clock in from a phone or a computer
The clock is the server’s, not the device’s. Each punch has a sequential number, IP, location and a receipt, and a double tap doesn’t create two punches.
Allowed radius: block or flag
Management sets the workplace and a radius in meters. Outside it, the punch is refused or goes in with the “outside the radius” flag and the distance, as the company chooses.
An adjustment that doesn’t erase the record
Forgot to clock in or clocked in twice: the person requests an adjustment with a reason, the direct leader decides, and the timesheet shows the handled punch. The original stays.
From the timesheet to the payroll file
Regular hours, overtime by type, night hours, absences and hour bank in the month’s timesheet. Once the month closes, each person acknowledges it, and out come the CSV, the AFD and the AEJ.

The rules are the company’s: Memberfy applies the work hours, radius and mode it chooses, without assessing whether they meet the law or each company’s contracts.

Visibility

Like every space, this one is public, members only or subscribers only — the choice is per space, and the space is the authority on what can be reached from it.

We are inviting the first communities.
