The monthly fee is for size. The fee per sale is only when you sell.
The monthly fee comes from your plan’s member limit: from R$ 49 to R$ 499. The fee is 6.99% + R$ 2.49 on each charge you make inside the community — subscription, course, mentoring or ticket.
The price is the size of your community.
The same product and the same payment processing fee on every plan.
A twelve-month contract, paid in 12×. This is the list price.

On every plan, from Starter to Scale, you get
There is no usage quota, not even on Starter, at R$ 49: the limit is your plan’s member count, and above 20,000 members come in packs. Within it, every space type, none held back for a pricier plan:

- MCP: Claude and ChatGPTIncluded
- Run the community by talking to the assistant: courses, events, plans, coupons and numbers
No feature is held back for the expensive plan: custom domain, logo and colors, gamification, moderation and the financial side all come from the first one. The only difference between plans, besides the member cap, is the "powered by Memberfy" signature in e-mails and the footer, which exists only on Starter and goes away from Growth, at R$ 99. The Planning & HR and Coworking extensions are separate, and cost the same on top of any plan.
When you add the Planning & HR extension, you get
From R$ 999 a month: Starter R$ 49 + Planning & HR R$ 950, and the plan grows with headcount. There is no usage quota: the limit is your plan’s member count, and within it each person uses as much as they want.

When you add the Coworking extension, you get
From R$ 499 a month: Starter R$ 49 + Coworking R$ 450, and the plan grows with headcount. There is no usage quota: the limit is your plan’s member count, and within it each person uses as much as they want.
- BookingsUnlimited
- Rooms, desks and workstations with no limit on how many, booked by the hour
- AttendanceUnlimited
- Check-in and check-out at the physical space
- VisitorsUnlimited*
- Guest registration and entry, with a heads-up to whoever invited them
- SupportUnlimited
- Maintenance and service tickets
* A visitor logged only at arrival does not count as a member. If the coworking asks visitors to sign up — with an e-mail, for example — and that creates an account, they become a user and count toward the plan’s member limit.
The two charges, side by side
- 1. The monthly fee, by member limitfrom R$ 49 to R$ 499 a month
- It pays for the service: infrastructure, domain, e-mail delivery, support and updates. The amount comes from the plan’s member cap, not from what you earn. Above 20,000 members, each pack of 2,000 more adds R$ 99. Charged every month, whether there were sales or not.
- 2. The payment processing fee6.99% + R$ 2.49 per charge
- The same on every plan, applied to every charge the platform processes: the sale of a course, a mentoring program or a ticket, and also every subscription renewal. It doesn’t depend on the method — PIX, boleto and card cost you the same. A month without charges is a month without fees.
One month, with numbers
A community with 800 members, 200 of them subscribers at R$ 50 a month: that is 200 charges and R$ 10,000 for the month. The monthly fee is R$ 99, because 800 fits in Growth, the plan for up to a thousand. The fee is R$ 699 (6.99% of R$ 10,000) plus R$ 498 (200 × R$ 2.49), or R$ 1,197. In total, R$ 1,296, plus R$ 3.67 if it withdraws the money once in the month. In a month when it charges no one anything, R$ 99.
Every fee, one by one
- Per sale6.99% + R$ 2.49
- On every approved charge, on any plan and any payment method.
- Per withdrawalR$ 3.67
- Per transfer to your account, not per sale. The minimum withdrawal is R$ 10.00.
- Early payout3%, if you ask
- Only when you want the money before the normal schedule. Optional, decided at each withdrawal.
There is no setup fee and no charge per admin, per space or per course. Beyond these two, there is the withdrawal, at R$ 3.67 per transfer, and only what you ask for goes on the bill: early payout, at 3%, optional and decided withdrawal by withdrawal, and the Planning & HR and Coworking extensions.
Go past the cap and the plan moves up on its own. And you can turn that off.
Automatic upgrade is on by default, so the community never stops growing because of an invoice: nobody is kept out, nothing gets blocked and nothing stops working. As you approach the cap, a notice arrives — before, not after. If you’d rather not spend more without talking to someone, turn off the automatic upgrade in settings and we will check with you before any change.
In practice: close to 100 members on Starter, the notice arrives. With automatic upgrade on, the next invoice comes on Growth, at R$ 99, and that’s it. With it off, nobody touches your plan without talking to you. Above Scale it works the same, except that instead of changing plans you get a pack of 2,000 more members, for R$ 99. The fee per sale doesn’t change in either case.
Memberfy, MemberKit and Circle at the same member cap.
The amounts below are the plans each of them publishes. The dollar conversion is approximate and moves with the exchange rate, so check before you decide — the comparison is ours.
| Member cap | Circle | MemberKit | Memberfy |
|---|---|---|---|
| 100 | US$ 89 (~R$ 450) + 2% | R$ 197 | R$ 49 + 6.99% + R$ 2.49 |
| 1,000 | US$ 89 (~R$ 450) + 2% | R$ 197 | R$ 99 + 6.99% + R$ 2.49 |
| 5,000 | US$ 89 (~R$ 450) + 2% | R$ 497 | R$ 299 + 6.99% + R$ 2.49 |
| 15,000 | US$ 89 (~R$ 450) + 2% | R$ 697 | R$ 499 + 6.99% + R$ 2.49 |
- Circle doesn’t cap members: the price is flat and it charges 2% per transaction on the US$ 89 plan, 1% on the US$ 199 and US$ 419 ones. On member count it scales better than our ladder.
- Circle’s prices are for annual billing, in dollars and before taxes — it says so at the foot of their page. Monthly costs more, and anyone paying from Brazil also pays IOF tax and exchange-rate swings.
- Circle’s fee doesn’t include payment processing: the gateway is charged separately. Adding the two, the cost per sale there comes close to 5% to 6%, not 2%.
- MemberKit’s smallest published plan covers 1,000 members; the R$ 697 one covers 15,000. Our R$ 499 plan, Scale, goes up to 20,000.
- Circle bills, but barely with Pix
- Its checkout is good and runs on Stripe: Pix only works for one-time payments, with a Brazilian Stripe account and in early access, subscriptions are card-only and boleto isn’t offered. And the price is in dollars. If your members are Brazilian, that decides the conversion before any feature comparison.
- Our fee replaces the gateway, it doesn’t add to it
- The platform fee takes the place of the payment gateway: one less integration, one less invoice, and a single place where access switches on and off. On Circle its fee and the gateway’s are two separate lines.
- Removing their brand costs US$ 199 a month
- On Circle, removing the platform’s branding only comes with the US$ 199 plan — about R$ 1,075 a month. Here our brand goes away from Growth, at R$ 99; on Starter it stays only in the footer and the e-mails.
- We don’t charge per admin, moderator or space
- Circle charges US$ 10 a month per extra admin, US$ 20 per ten moderators and US$ 20 per ten spaces, plus US$ 40 for branded e-mail on the entry plan. Here all of that is included on any plan.
- If all you need is to sell, there is something cheaper
- A pure checkout like LastLink charges the same 6.99% + R$ 2.49 per approved sale, no monthly fee and R$ 0.99 per withdrawal. That is less than our bill, and it is only honest to say so. What it doesn’t do is the community, the courses, the events and the access that cuts off by itself when someone cancels.
- What they have and we don’t
- Circle and Klubs have native iOS and Android apps; Memberfy is a site that installs on the phone’s home screen. Hotmart has an affiliate marketplace we don’t have. Worth knowing before you subscribe.

Frequently asked questions
The money answers, in the order the questions usually come up.
What leaves your account
How much does it cost, in total?
Two charges. The platform’s monthly fee goes from R$ 49 (Starter, up to 100 members) to R$ 499 (Scale, up to 20,000), plus R$ 99 for every 2,000 members beyond that, and depends only on the size of the community. The fee is 6.99% + R$ 2.49 on each sale made inside it, the same on every plan and with any payment method. No sales in a month, no fee. Each withdrawal costs R$ 3.67, and getting paid before the normal schedule, only if you ask, costs 3%. Only if you want them, there are two extensions, always added to a plan: Planning & HR, from R$ 999 a month (Starter R$ 49 + R$ 950), and Coworking, from R$ 499 a month (Starter R$ 49 + R$ 450), and the plan grows with headcount.
How is the price of extra members calculated?
Up to 20,000 members there is no per-member overage charge: what happens is that the plan moves up. Automatic upgrade is on by default so the community doesn’t stop growing because of an invoice — nothing gets blocked, nobody is kept out. Close to the cap you get a notice, and if you’d rather not spend more without talking to someone, turn off the automatic upgrade in settings: then we check with you before changing anything. The fee per sale is the same on every plan, so it doesn’t change when the plan moves up. Above 20,000, Scale continues and a pack of 2,000 more members is added for R$ 99 a month — charged per pack, not per member, with the same notice beforehand. If the community shrinks, the plan moves down with it.
Do I need a contract or a commitment?
There is monthly, with no contract, and annual, with a twelve-month contract in up to 12× on the card. Annual is the list price; monthly costs 30% more per month, in exchange for no term. While we are in closed beta, the terms — monthly fee, fee per sale and timelines — are set in each community’s contract, and you see them in writing before you sign anything. No charge shows up later that wasn’t stated before.
How does the trial period work?
There isn’t one for Memberfy: access is by request, and we build the first version of the community with you before any charge. There is one for your products: each subscription plan you create can have a trial period in days, with or without requiring a card up front.
Does MCP, for using Claude or ChatGPT, cost extra?
No. MCP is included on every plan, from Starter to Scale: you connect Memberfy to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor and run the community by talking, with your role and nothing beyond it.
What comes into your account
Can I get paid through Memberfy?
Yes, and that’s the point. PIX, boleto and credit card in up to 12 installments, processed by Memberfy: you don’t open a gateway account, integrate an API or keep a contract with an acquirer. That integration is what makes access turn on when someone pays and off when someone cancels, with nobody checking a spreadsheet. A 12-month plan can be sold two ways, and you can offer both: recurring with a contract, one charge a month that takes up only the monthly amount on the card, or annual in up to 12× on the card, with PIX and boleto paid upfront. Installment interest goes to whoever you choose: the community absorbs it or passes it on to the buyer.
How soon do I get paid?
Each sale comes in as a line in your statement that nobody deletes or rewrites afterward. How long it takes for the money to become available depends on the payment method. Part of each sale — 4% — is held for 30 days, because during that period the customer can still dispute the card purchase; after that, it returns to your balance on its own. With an available balance you request a withdrawal, which costs R$ 3.67 per transfer: it goes through approval, respects the limit you configured and only goes out after your bank details are verified. If you don’t want to wait for the normal schedule, you can get paid early for 3% — optional, and you decide at each withdrawal.
What happens to access when a customer cancels?
They lose access to what was for subscribers, automatically, without you doing anything. What was public or for members stays visible to them, because visibility is set space by space. Their profile, comments and history stay where they are — if they come back, they come back into their own account.
Do I have to charge? Can I have a free community?
You don’t have to charge. The community can be completely open or free for members, with monetization off — in that case you pay the plan’s monthly fee and no fee at all, because there are no sales. Billing can be turned on later without migrating anything: spaces, members and content stay where they are, and what changes is each space’s visibility rule.
If you already use another tool
Does migrating hurt?
A little, and we do it with you — that’s why the beta takes one community at a time. Written content can be imported from the Substack, Medium and WordPress export files. The rest — students, ongoing subscriptions, payment history — is manual work agreed case by case, and the most annoying part is usually active subscriptions on another platform, which nobody can transfer without the customer re-authorizing the charge. We tell you the size of the job before, not after.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on any plan — including Starter, at R$ 49. Domain, logo, tab icon, colors and the card that appears when someone shares the link are set per community. From Growth up there is no Memberfy brand anywhere; on Starter it appears only in the footer and the e-mails. Until your domain is pointed, the community already works at a memberfy.net address, and switching later doesn’t move the content.
I have more than one community. Do I need more than one account?
No. The role lives on the profile, not on the person: the same account is owner in one community and member in another, and the two stay isolated — neither sees the other’s data.
Do I need to host videos somewhere else?
Videos up to 100 MB upload directly to the platform, and images up to 20 MB. Long lessons are usually better hosted on YouTube, Vimeo or Mux and embedded — it’s the path the platform expects, and it also saves you from paying for storage for something those platforms do for free or for less.
We are inviting the first communities.
Memberfy is in closed beta, so access is by request. Tell us what you want to build: we reply, set it up with you and stay close afterward.
