Request your access.
Memberfy is in closed beta and we are inviting the first communities. Tell us what you want to build and we reply with your access — and then build it with you.
Nothing is charged for requesting, and the request isn’t a sign-up. While we are in beta, each community is set up with hands-on help — that’s why access is by request, not self-service.
Pricing, migration, payments and payout timing.
How much does it cost, in total?
Two charges. The platform’s monthly fee goes from R$ 49 (Starter, up to 100 members) to R$ 499 (Scale, up to 20,000), plus R$ 99 for every 2,000 members beyond that, and depends only on the size of the community. The fee is 6.99% + R$ 2.49 on each sale made inside it, the same on every plan and with any payment method. No sales in a month, no fee. Each withdrawal costs R$ 3.67, and getting paid before the normal schedule, only if you ask, costs 3%. Only if you want them, there are two extensions, always added to a plan: Planning & HR, from R$ 999 a month (Starter R$ 49 + R$ 950), and Coworking, from R$ 499 a month (Starter R$ 49 + R$ 450), and the plan grows with headcount.
How is the price of extra members calculated?
Up to 20,000 members there is no per-member overage charge: what happens is that the plan moves up. Automatic upgrade is on by default so the community doesn’t stop growing because of an invoice — nothing gets blocked, nobody is kept out. Close to the cap you get a notice, and if you’d rather not spend more without talking to someone, turn off the automatic upgrade in settings: then we check with you before changing anything. The fee per sale is the same on every plan, so it doesn’t change when the plan moves up. Above 20,000, Scale continues and a pack of 2,000 more members is added for R$ 99 a month — charged per pack, not per member, with the same notice beforehand. If the community shrinks, the plan moves down with it.
Can I get paid through Memberfy?
Yes, and that’s the point. PIX, boleto and credit card in up to 12 installments, processed by Memberfy: you don’t open a gateway account, integrate an API or keep a contract with an acquirer. That integration is what makes access turn on when someone pays and off when someone cancels, with nobody checking a spreadsheet. A 12-month plan can be sold two ways, and you can offer both: recurring with a contract, one charge a month that takes up only the monthly amount on the card, or annual in up to 12× on the card, with PIX and boleto paid upfront. Installment interest goes to whoever you choose: the community absorbs it or passes it on to the buyer.
How soon do I get paid?
Each sale comes in as a line in your statement that nobody deletes or rewrites afterward. How long it takes for the money to become available depends on the payment method. Part of each sale — 4% — is held for 30 days, because during that period the customer can still dispute the card purchase; after that, it returns to your balance on its own. With an available balance you request a withdrawal, which costs R$ 3.67 per transfer: it goes through approval, respects the limit you configured and only goes out after your bank details are verified. If you don’t want to wait for the normal schedule, you can get paid early for 3% — optional, and you decide at each withdrawal.
Does migrating hurt?
A little, and we do it with you — that’s why the beta takes one community at a time. Written content can be imported from the Substack, Medium and WordPress export files. The rest — students, ongoing subscriptions, payment history — is manual work agreed case by case, and the most annoying part is usually active subscriptions on another platform, which nobody can transfer without the customer re-authorizing the charge. We tell you the size of the job before, not after.
Do I need to host videos somewhere else?
Videos up to 100 MB upload directly to the platform, and images up to 20 MB. Long lessons are usually better hosted on YouTube, Vimeo or Mux and embedded — it’s the path the platform expects, and it also saves you from paying for storage for something those platforms do for free or for less.
Does MCP, for using Claude or ChatGPT, cost extra?
No. MCP is included on every plan, from Starter to Scale: you connect Memberfy to Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor and run the community by talking, with your role and nothing beyond it.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, on any plan — including Starter, at R$ 49. Domain, logo, tab icon, colors and the card that appears when someone shares the link are set per community. From Growth up there is no Memberfy brand anywhere; on Starter it appears only in the footer and the e-mails. Until your domain is pointed, the community already works at a memberfy.net address, and switching later doesn’t move the content.
What happens to access when a customer cancels?
They lose access to what was for subscribers, automatically, without you doing anything. What was public or for members stays visible to them, because visibility is set space by space. Their profile, comments and history stay where they are — if they come back, they come back into their own account.
How does the trial period work?
There isn’t one for Memberfy: access is by request, and we build the first version of the community with you before any charge. There is one for your products: each subscription plan you create can have a trial period in days, with or without requiring a card up front.
Do I need a contract or a commitment?
There is monthly, with no contract, and annual, with a twelve-month contract in up to 12× on the card. Annual is the list price; monthly costs 30% more per month, in exchange for no term. While we are in closed beta, the terms — monthly fee, fee per sale and timelines — are set in each community’s contract, and you see them in writing before you sign anything. No charge shows up later that wasn’t stated before.
Do I have to charge? Can I have a free community?
You don’t have to charge. The community can be completely open or free for members, with monetization off — in that case you pay the plan’s monthly fee and no fee at all, because there are no sales. Billing can be turned on later without migrating anything: spaces, members and content stay where they are, and what changes is each space’s visibility rule.
Can I have an open part and a paid part?
That’s the idea. Visibility is set space by space, between public, members and subscribers, and inside a content space it goes down to the individual post. An open article serves as a shop window and is what search engines index, while courses and events stay for subscribers only.
Is there an app?
Not on the App Store or Google Play. Memberfy is a site that installs on the phone’s home screen and opens full screen, with no browser bar — it works well, but it isn’t the same as a native app, and Circle and Klubs have real apps. If an app in the store is a requirement for you, better to know now.
I have more than one community. Do I need more than one account?
No. The role lives on the profile, not on the person: the same account is owner in one community and member in another, and the two stay isolated — neither sees the other’s data.
How does getting started work?
Memberfy is in closed beta: you send a request and we reply. Once approved, the community is born with domain, language and a starting menu already set up — not an empty house. The owner access arrives in your e-mail with a temporary password, which the platform asks you to change at your first sign-in.
